NMC appeals to participate in Citizen Perception Survey

Nashik: As a part of Ease of Living Index assessment, a Citizen Perception Survey is being conducted in Nashik city on behalf of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA). The Ministry has said that it is a very important component of assessment exercises as it will help the MoHUA for capturing the perception of citizens with respect to the quality of life in the city.

The assessment was started by the Ministry from January 16, 2020 and will be continued till February end. Nashik Municipal Corporation is frequently asking the citizens through social media platforms to participate in the survey. It is wanted to top the list in order to mark the city as most livable in the country.

There are only 12 cities selected by the Ministry for this a survey in the state of Maharashtra, including, Nashik, Pune, Mumbai, Thane, Vasai-Virar, Nagpur, Kalyan-Dombivali, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Solapur and others. The survey asks simple 24 questions about your daily life starting from your job profile, quality and affordability of education in the city, healthcare services, housing facilities, cleanliness and other questions related to the daily lifestyle and the services provided by the civic body.

The Corporation has requested Nashikites to participate in large numbers and answer the questions in the survey. The civic body has said that it will help them to improve the city ranking in the ‘Ease of Living’.
