NCP demands stern action

NASHIK: Employees agitating for the separation of ST Corporation behaved rudely at the residence of National President of NCP Padma Vibhushan Sharad Pawar. Against this backdrop, demonstrations were held near the Mahatma Gandhi statue at Deolali Gaon under the chairmanship of NCP city president Ranjan Thackeray and in the presence of senior office bearers to demand immediate action against the political parties and individuals who incited them.

State office bearers Nanasaheb Mahale, Nivruti Aringale, Anita Bhamre, Ambadas Khaire, Sanjay Khairnar, former corporator Jagdish Pawar etc. were present at the occasion. The strike was called off after the Mumbai High Court ordered ST workers to report for work. The agitation, which was going on peacefully, took a sudden violent turn on the last day.

“Some political parties want to impose presidential rule in the state of Maharashtra, so they are doing such dirty politics. ED action is being taken against the leaders of Mahavikas Aghadi with the help of Central Government,” said Thackeray. Strict action should be taken immediately to find out who is the real mastermind behind the provocation of these agitators. Protests were staged on behalf of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) for this demand.
