NASHIK: Nayana Gunde, a former IAS officer working in Nashik, has taken the reins of the post of District Collector of Gondia yesterday. Earlier, she was working as the Deputy Director of Yashada Sanstha in Pune. District Collector Gunde is a 2008 batch IAS officer who spent most of her tenure in Nashik. He has worked in various positions in Revenue Department at Nashik, Sangli, Solapur and Osmanabad.
She had worked as Additional Commissioner in Nagpur Municipal Corporation. In Nashik, she was working in MHADA as Managing Director, Deputy Inspector General of Registration of Stamps and Registration Fees. Gunde had received three awards while working as Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer at Vardha. Two of these awards were at the national level. She did a remarkable job in her career when she was the CMD of PMPML in Pune.
