Manjarpada dam wall construction completed

NASHIK: The work of the Manjarpada project dam wall has been completed and the work of railway crossing and all other projects in the Ankute area has been completed within a month. Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection and District Guardian Minister Chhagan Bhujbal inspected the works here on Thursday. Bhujbal visited to inspect the railway crossing work on the Punegaon-Daraswadi-Dongargaon canal (Punegaon-Daraswadi-Dongargaon Canal) in Ankola Shivar of Yeola taluka.

He was accompanied by executive engineer Rajendra Shimpi, taluka president Sahebrao Madhavai, Yeola Market Committee administrator Vasant Pawar, Zilla Parishad member Dnyaneshwar Jagtap and others. On this occasion, Guardian Minister Chhagan Bhujbal said that the challenging work of the Manjarpada Devsane project is being completed step by step. Efforts are being made to complete the work by following up continuously.

Work on the railway crossing at this project has been pending for the last two years. Permission was obtained by following up with the railway administration. Work on the crossing is underway and the remaining minor works along the crossing will be completed within this month. Therefore, the objective of this year is to bring the water of this project to Dongargaon at full capacity and the citizens of the taluka will get great relief.

He said that with the completion of the Manjarpada project, the water will come to Yeola at full capacity this year. He assured that as the project was new, problems would arise in the first year but they would be resolved. He also said that after the arrival of water in the direction of Yeola soon, he will soon inspect the work and perform Jal Pujan.
