In the midst of lockdown when several companies in Satpur MIDC are struggling to resume production activity hampered by Covid-19 pandemic, Satpur-based Bosch Limited, one of the top plug manufacturers has signed a wage agreement with its internal workers Union.
As per the wage agreement signed between the Bosch management and internal workers’ union, the workers will get a monthly increment of Rs 10,000 which included a variable basket of Rs 2500 which is to be given after ensuring 7.5% increase in production. The workers will also get an additional Rs 3000 of the CPID linking. The wage agreement will be applicable to all workers on the muster roll since January 1st, 2017.
For the last 40 months, the wage agreement pact was in pending. One and half months ago, union office bearers had continued talks with the Bosch management on the wage issue.
Meanwhile, as many as 130 temporary workers will be absorbed in the permanent service of the company while remaining hundred workers will become permanent in the next 6 months, informed union president Arun Bhalerao and general secretary Shrikrishna Kulkarni in a press conference, yesterday.
