Jawan, Kisan two key pillars of our country: Bhujbal

NASHIK: Just as soldiers protect the country, so should society respect and care for soldiers. Also the farmer is the breadwinner, his hard working hands should also be strengthened. The contribution of Vir Chakra award winner Kachru Salve is inspiring, said Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection and District Guardian Minister Chhagan Bhujbal while laying the foundation stone of a house for military bravery award winner Kachru Salve at Yeola.

Agriculture Minister and Ex-Servicemen Welfare Minister Dadaji Bhuse, MLA Suhas Kande, MLA Narendra Darade, MLA Kishor Darade, Vir Chakra awardee Kachru Salve, Kalyanrao Patil, former ZP President Radhakisan Sonawane were present on the occasion. Guardian Minister Chhagan Bhujbal said, We should take care of every soldier as bevause of them we sleep happily.

Also, it is great pride that on the occasion of the birth anniversaries of Balasaheb Thackeray and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, inauguration of the house construction for Salve is taking place. Bhujbal also hoped that the house entry should be held on the same day next year.

‘Respect to ex-servicemen, families of martyrs’

Vir Chakra awardee Kachru Salve had taken part in the Indo-Pakistani war of 1971 and saved the lives of his follow soldiers. His contribution to the country is invaluable. Taking note of his contribution, the government has provided them with a space of two thousand feet for residential construction. Bhuse further said that The Mahavikas Aghadi government has done a great job of showing respect to the soldiers. The government is always trying to show respect and gratitude to the ex-servicemen and the families of the martyrs as their work cannot be ignored.

Training center for girls in Nashik

A pre-recruitment training center for girls is being set up in Nashik on the lines of a training center for boys in Aurangabad. Under the Balasaheb Thackeray Ex-Servicemen Scheme, widows of ex-servicemen, natives of Maharashtra, dependents of vir jawans have been given tax exemption on a property in their name. Also, five per cent reservation has been made for the children of ex-servicemen for vocational education and action is being taken for its effective implementation.
