Half Iron Man Distance Triathlon held

NASHIK: Members of Nashik Cyclists Foundation won many titles and stood in the top three winners in the Half Iron Man-Distance Triathlon organized by Deccan Sports Club Kolhapur. This triathlon is considered to be the toughest and most challenging race as it involves 1.9 kilometres of swimming, 90 kilometres of cycling, and 21 kilometres of running consecutively. Dr. Manisha Raundal (46 years old) accepted the challenge and successfully completed this competition on time.

She became the first senior half iron lady of Nashik. Ashwini Deore finished third in the Elite category. Manik Nikam finished second in the age group of 51 to 60 years. In Half Iron Man Distance Triathlon, Dr. Manisha Roudal, Ashwini Deore, Manik Nikam, Ramdas Sonawane, Ganesh Mali, Vidhit Chordia, Vijay Kakad, Avishkar Gachale, Aniket Zawar, Mahendra Chhoriya, Prashant Dabri from Nashik successfully completed the competition.

During the Covid-19 period, Prashant Dabri maintained his fitness levels by himself and won the special title of Bergman (Mountain Man). Sushil Sarangdhar completed stood first in sprint distance triathlon, which consists of 750m swimming, 20 km cycling, and 5 km running. Rajendra Wankhede, President of Nashik Cyclists Foundation, congratulated all the winners for their achievement.
