Governor working under pressure of Centre: MP Raut

Governor working under pressure of Centre: MP Raut

NASHIK: Dismissing a government formed with a majority is not child’s play. No matter how much the opposition plans, it is not possible. Shiv Sena Leader Member of Parliament Sanjay Raut claims that the Center is putting pressure on the Governor regarding the delayed appointment of 12 MLAs of the Legislative Council. He was speaking in Nashik on Wednesday. While Raut was on a tour of Nashik, he interacted with journalists on Wednesday afternoon.

MLA Narendra Darade, Suhas Kande, former mayor Vinayak Pandey, metropolitan chief Sudhakar Badgujar, Ajay Boraste, Vilas Shinde, Vijay Karanjkar and other office bearers were present at the occasion. Raut further said that Narayan Rane is expected to co-operate with the police in the Nitesh Rane case. Criminals should not be sidelined. Even if Nitesh is hiding, the police will find him.

On the misuse of central machinery, he said, action is being taken against the leaders of our three parties for political gains. In Maharashtra, the leaders of the Mahavikas Aghadi are harassed by filing false cases using the Central Investigation Agency.

On the statement of former minister Sudhir Mungantiwar statement that if the state government does not dismiss him, he will have to change his name, Raut said “He will have to change the name. Dismissing a majority government is not child’s play. “I know the governor and the chief minister of the state. I have had a good relationship with governor since very long. Who will threaten the governor?” This is a simple matter.

The illusion was created from the post of Assembly Speaker, the governor informed, and government has agreed. Governor is very polite and good-natured but at present, he is under pressure from the Centre. As a result, appointments of MLAs are stalled, claimed Raut.

The law and order in the state are in good shape. In this country, the President gets a notice from the Supreme Court, but the criminals get shelter from the opposition. On the controversy between Shiv Sena and NCP in Jalgaon, he said that there is a tussle between two families nothing else. It has nothing to do with politics. On Bavankule's comment, Raut said sarcastically “Bavankule has become MLA just now, how he will split our MLA’s”.
