Government to wait, watch: Gaikwad

NASHIK: The 10th-12th exams in March are expected to be postponed. Minister of State for School Education Bachchu Kadu had made an important statement regarding the class X and XII board examinations. The State School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has clarified about it. Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has said that government has taken a stand to wait and watch in the decision to postpone the examination till February 15.

Varsha Gaikwad said, “Ministers of State had a meeting for the class X and XII examinations. We have to look at every aspect. We are taking review about the situation of Corona. Let’s review the Corona situation in the state till February 15. There is a supplementary examination. After students have to sit for the main examination. Then after results there is admission process. Many things are based on one decision. Therefore, the decision will be made with consideration. We are discussing with the board, SERT.”

Schedule of 10th and 12th examinations

Practical examinations for class X and XII students will start from 14th February. The practical examination will be held from February 25 to March 14. Also, written test for class X will be held from 15th March to 4th April. The practical examination of class XII will be held from 14th February to 3rd March. The written test will be held from March 4 to March 30.
