An eight-feet-long python was spotted under a four-wheeler at Ganesh apartment in Mahadev Wadi in Satpur area of the city at around 9.30 pm, on Saturday.

The forest department was informed when a local snake rescuer arrived at the spot. A team from the forest department west division rushed to the spot, captured the python and released it in the middle of the night in the forest reserve at Harsu
