After testing COVID-19 positive, Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Ashok Chavan here on Monday boarded the special ambulance without any aid hence symbolically suggesting that there is no need to worry.
The ambulance will ferry him to Mumbai for further treatment. He waived his hand and assured his followers saying, “Do not worry, I will recover very soon”.
MLC Amar Rajurkar, Mohan Hambarde, and his close aides were present to bid him a safe journey. Meanwhile, a sanitization drive has been undertaken at the Minister’s Shivajinagar residence in Nanded.
