NASHIK: A special fund of Rs. 5 crore has been sanctioned by the Urban Development Department for development works within the limit of Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC). MP Hemant Godse has been trying for the last few months to get funds from the Urban Development Department for various development works in the NMC limit. He had met Urban Development Minister Eknath Shinde twice for this. At that time Shinde had stated that like Thane, Mumbai and Kalyan, Nashik was also his favourite city and assured to provide funds for development works. A fund of Rs. 5 crore has been approved for the development of Nashik city in a special order issued by the Urban Development Department.
