NASHIK : Ration shopkeeper at Goregaon in Mumbai has been tested positive and he has been admitted to trauma care centre at Jogeshwari. His family members have been isolated. Considering this, conduct health check of ration shopkeepers, demanded Gajanan Babar, president of All Maharashtra Rationing Shopkeepers Federation.
The token is given to 100 person minimum for a day in a single ration shop. While disbursing food grain ration shopkeepers come in contact with many citizens. Like Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur and Nashik cities, coronavirus is spreading in other cities too. Taking this into account, conduct health check of all ration shopkeepers in the state and workers working with them, it has been demanded to state government.
Civil supplies and consumer department should orders regarding this to concerned municipal corporations, municipal councils, local bodies, health department and district collector. This will help in curbing the spread of coronavirus and considering above mentioned facts, approve insurance cover immediately, demanded All Maharashtra Rationing Shopkeepers Federation.
