NASHIK: The government has included Nashik in level 3 of the unlock phase and has allowed the hotels to do their business from 7 am to 4 pm. However, the Hotels and Restaurants Association has demanded in a statement to the District Collector that permission should be given to sell parcels of liquor and food through counter sales till 10 pm.
Officials of the Hotels and Restaurants Association met the District Collector on Monday. Considering the positivity rate in Nashik district, it has been included in level 3. However, considering the number of patients in the city, Nashik city will come in the level 3. If permission will be given to open hotels and restaurants full time, the economic cycle of hotel and restaurant operators will resume.
Also, the government will get revenue from the sale of liquor. In view of this, the district administration should allow the FL3 licensees in Nashik district to sell parcels of liquor and food through counter sales till 10 pm, the Association has requested.
