CR to run special trains to clear extra rush

NASHIK :

Central Railways has decided to run special trains to clear the rush of passengers. There has been a sudden surge in passengers from Mumbai and Pune areas heading to destinations in East and North of India in the wake of COVID19. The Central Railways has announced special trains which will run on Monday from Mumbai division and will have a halt at Nashik Road station too.

It has planned special trains for clearing this extra rush of passengers to various destinations such as Patna, Howrah, Danapur, Gorakhpur, Manduadih and Ballarshah. Out of these stations, the trains for Howrah, Gorakhpur and Patna will have halt at Nashik Road station too.

The bookings for the trains are already open. For trains leaving on 21 March 2020 afternoon, bookings will open March 20, 2020 midnight till the train leaves from the departure station. General second class coaches in these trains will run as unreserved and tickets can be booked through UTS as applicable for superfast mail and express trains.
