COVID-19 tally spikes to 1816; Death toll reaches 115

NASHIK :

Forty-seven new patients in Nashik district have tested positive on Friday, taking the pandemic tally to 1816. Among them, 28 are from Nashik city, while 18 are from rural parts of the district. As six patients succumbed to the disease, the death toll has reached 115.

Of the total reports received on Friday, 28 patients have tested positive from Nashik city. With this, the tally of infected patients in the city has climbed to 571. Of the total positive patients, five are from Panchavati, four from Subhash Road, Nashik Road, three from Bagwanpura, Old Nashik, two each are from Azad Chowk and Pathardi Phata and one each is from Mico hospital area, Kamod Road, Kathada, three from Peth Road area, two from Jachak farm area in Nashik Road and one is from Dwarka area.

On the other 19 from rural parts of the district have tested positive. Among them eight are from Manmad, two each are from Yeola, Pimpalgaon Baswant and Igatpuri and one is from Madsangvi, Niphad, Mokhada and Bhori Camp area. With this, the number of infected in rural parts has climbed to 306, while the number of patients in Malegaon has increased to 867. On the other 49 patients have got cured of Covid-19. With this, the number of those recovered has increased to 1201.
