NASHIK: A work to install CCTV camera installation in NMC ward number 1 in the Panchavati division is in the final stage. These cameras are being installed by a social activist at his own expense. The Mhasrul area witnessed frequent thefts, gold chain thefts, assaults, shootings, murders and attempted murders.
Some of the accused have been caught, while others are still at large and are spreading their terror from time to time. Therefore, locals had demanded to install CCTV cameras in the ward. Social activist Ganesh Pelmahale has taken the initiative to install CCTV cameras at Hanuman Chowk, Kansara Mata Chowk, Sai Sandesh Chowk, Mhasrul square, Reliance square and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk on Peth Road and Dindori Road. This work will be completed soon. Locals have lauded this initiative.
