MP Hemant Godse took note of the raging drinking water problem in Shendripada and set up a solar dual water pumping project to help the villagers. Before this project, the women of Shendripada used to fetch drinking water from springs in the village suburbs.

They needed to cross dangerous paths, including a log’s usage to cross a valley. The project was constructed with the local development fund of MP Hemant Godse to curb the villagers’ problem.

Following the solar pumping project, Tourism Minister solved the path’s problem by constructing a strong bridge within two days for tribal women.
