NASHIK: Deshdoot Times has undertaken a campaign to create awareness on the subject of Civic Sense for the last few days. With an objective to make its start from little children as they are next generation of India, Deshdoot Times on Friday organised Kids Katta at Fravashi Academy on wastage of food.
Mansi Kelakar and Bhagyashri Umadi interacted with Standard VIth students over various social subjects and knew their opinions. Students put forward many questions and doubts during the question and answer session and got cleared them.
While interaction with students the importance of newspapers was explained to them. Review of students reading and current affairs and their views was taken. At this time students expressed concern over wastage of food. They aimed to create awareness about Civic Sense and ask others to be aware of this.
The students also stated that everyone should get the food they required and do not waste it. If they found anything wrong, they will oppose it and make awareness of this, confided students during the discussions.
The views and opinions of students regarding wastage of food during the marriage, social behaviour and lack of cleanliness. They stated that everyone should get the food they required. The leftover food at home and hotels should be distributed to the needy and poor through social organisations. This food also need to be given to animals, the students felt.
Earlier, Principal Bhanumati welcomed Deshdoot Times team. The students compered the programme and thanked Deshdoot Times for the organisation of Kids Katta in the school.
