Around 69.45% patients in Nashik district have so far been cured of COVID-19 and discharged from hospital. So far a total of 814 patients won a fight against corona virus and 9,698 citizens have been turned negative so far. On the other the pandemic tally of the district has surged to 1172 on Saturday.
Nashik city is witnessing a spike in corona positive cases. Nine patients have tested positive on Saturday, while 28 patients overcame the disease. 78.95% (604) patients in Malegaon have been cured of COVID-19 in Malegaon city which has become corona hot spot. Followed by Malegaon, recovery rate in rural district is 78.18%, while it is 33.33% in jurisdiction of Nashik Municipal Corporation. Of the total 183 patients, 61 got cured.
Of the total nine patients who have tested positive, four are from Nashik city. With this the tally has mounted to 183. Three patients in rural part of the district and two outsiders are also among them. On the other another patient succumbed to the disease. A total of new 137 suspect patients have been admitted to hospital on Saturday, including 57 from Nashik city, six in district civil hospital, 50 from rural parts and 22 from Malegaon.
So far a total of 11,503 swabs have been sent for testing. Of them, 9,689 have been tested negative, while 1172 have been turned positive. Currently, 297 are active cases, while 633 reports are awaited.
MP Sule lauds district administration
Patient recovery rate in Nashik district is around 70% and there is reduction in new cases. As administration has prepared to restart power looms in Malegaon, normal routine there will be restored as earlier, stated MP Supriya Sule on her Facebook page and lauded the district administration.
