24 new cases reported in district; death toll reaches 46

With detection of 24 new cases on Thursday in Nashik district, the pandemic tally has climbed to 879, which include four positive reports of patients from Mumbai who seem to visiting the city . On the other hand, four patients died. With this the death toll has reached 46 so far.
Among those 24 cases, eight are from Malegaon and 11 from Nashik city and four visitors from Mumbai. In the meantime, 53 patients got cured of Covid-19 on Thursday.
Corona is spreading fast in Malegaon, Nashik city and tehsils of the district. Newer cases are being detected in new areas.
A 45-year-old male from Wadalagaon had been turned positive on Wednesday. Those high-risk contacts who came in his contact have turned positive on Thursday. Another person from Ambad-Satpur link road has turned positive, while one in municipal area succumbed to the disease.
District administration received 197 reports on Thursday. Of them, 169 have tested negative, while 24 have tested positive, including two whose repeat tests turned positive.
On the other hand, with detection of eight new cases in Malegaon, the pandemic tally there has surged to 673. With detection of fresh cases, the tally in Nashik city has mounted to 59, while rest district has 123 positives, including 36 non-native.
