Three vehicles set on fire at Mhasrul

PANCHVATI: Unidentified miscreants set three two-wheelers on fire on Thursday midnight which was parked opposite a housing society in Wadhane Colony area, Mhasrul. Meanwhile, police suspected that this incident could take place through internal conflicts and have filed a case in connection with this.

Ritish Bhausaheb Late (24, resident of flat no. 6, Bhakar society, Wadhane Colony) has lodged a complaint. He parked his two-wheeler Suzuki Access (MH 15 GT 7491) on Thursday around 10 pm opposite the society. A two-wheeler (MH 14 CC4952), owned by his brother Ravi Late and Hero Honda CD Deluxe (MH 15 FP 8361) were parked beside this two-wheeler.

After hearing a noise of bursting of a petrol tank around 2 am on Thursday, Late and residents of the housing society rushed to parking space and found that the vehicles were burning. They then doused the fire with the help of water and informed Mhasrul police about this.

Earlier, vehicle torching incidents took place in Mhasrul area. Police have started an investigation into the matter under guidance of senior police inspector Sanjay Sangle.
