Cong organises candle march against load-shedding


Nashik : People are facing crisis of load-shedding due to negligent functioning of BJP government. The city unit of Congress party organised a candle march to the MSEDCL office at Bhadrakali to stop the load-shedding immediately and involved in Gandhigiri.

The march began from Congress Committee office. Office bearers and activists had candles in their hands. A protest against the BJP government was registered. A memorandum was given.

Businesses and industries will be affected by the load-shedding. Students will also suffer. It is difficult for farmers to water their crops as the load-shedding has been started without prior information. Considering this, exclude Nashik from load-shedding, it was demanded.

The load-shedding was stopped in the regime of Congress, but people are facing it again to due to negligent governance by BJP government, it was alleged.

City Congress chief Sharad Aher, west divisional prabhag committee chairperson Dr. Hemlata Patil, chief of women wing Vatsala Khaire, Rais Shaikh, Babloo Khaire, Hanif Bashir, other office bearers and activists were present.
