Cong-NCP has no leader, policy or principles: Adityanath
NASHIK: Exuding confidence that BJP-Shiv Sena will regain power in the state, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and firebrand BJP leader Yogi Adityanath on Monday took a jibe at Congress-NCP alliance in the state saying the Opposition does not have a leader, policy or principles while the BJP is a party of patriots led by PM Narendra Modi.
Adityanath, who campaigned for BJP-Sena candidates in the city, further urged the people to vote for the BJP to fast-track schemes meant for the welfare of farmers, for inclusive development and good governance. Addressing an election rally at Uttamnagar here ahead of October 21 state elections, Yogi said, the Congress and NCP-led government, which ruled in Maharashtra for 15 years, spread corruption and anarchy. These parties have been indulged in politics of dynasty, casteism and vote bank, hYogi e alleged.
Speaking on the revocation of provisions of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, he said the move by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was a tribute to Babasaheb Ambedkar. It was the sin of Congress and PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah took tough and historic decision to remove the “temporary” provision of Art 370.
He said that the removal of the Artical led to curb terrorism in the valley. Yogi hailed law on triple talaq to give justice to Muslim women. Heaping praises on Fadnavis government, Yogi said that the chief minister successfully implemented various Govt-run programmes like Housing For All, PM Ujjwala Yojana, electricity for all, PM Kisan Maan-Dhan Yojana and ensured that it must reach last man in the queue.
The election to the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly is scheduled for October 21. The poll result will be out on October 24.
