Nashik : The government has decided to plant 13 crore trees in state in financial year 2017-18. All government officials and employees should complete the given target in time, stated District Collector Radhakrishnan B. He was speaking in a meeting organised by forest department at Niyojan Bhavan in the district collectorate.
Chief executive officer of Zilla Parishad Deepakkumar Meena, deputy forest guard of Nashik west department Biwla, all prant officials, tehsildars, block development officers and government officials were present.
The District Collector urged that all government departments should provide their cooperation in achieving the target and took stock of the trees which were planted earlier.
