Collaborative efforts of politicians needed for development
Nashik city has different sets of potential. The problems in the city are also different, they should be understood properly and all-inclusive development should be achieved. The builder sector has the potential of creating jobs. The concept of affordable housing is affected by the taxation technique and new laws. The public representatives should come together and fight for the development of Nashik city with central and state government, expressed the dignitaries from the building sector.
To know the expectations of representatives of different sectors from the elected representatives on the backdrop of the State Assembly Election 2019, the dignitaries from building sector were present in the special segment of Deshdoot’s ‘Rannsangram Vidhansabhecha’. On the occasion, former president of Credai Jitubhai Thakkar, Sunil Kotwal, Sunil Bhaibhang and Sunil Gavande participated in the discussion.
The dignitaries stated that Nashik has been blessed with natural beauty and has very great potential for tourism. Industries are also growing in Nashik and so the flow of people to the city. But the builders are faded up with the restrictions, rule and regulations and changing laws, they are hampering the productivity of the sector. As per new law of RERA, many formalities are very difficult to fulfil, many of the constructions are left unfinished, which makes the builder to bear the loss.
All the elected representatives from Nashik should come together and should work for the overall development of Nashik. Tourism development should be taken into perspective. Accordingly, the facilities which the tourists will require should be provided. Nashik city needs to develop parking plots, good roads, public transport, toilets, cafeterias and many other things for tourists. For that, the elected politicians should think Nashik as a one and not just of their own constituency.
In the last five years, the basic infrastructure of transportation has been totally damaged. Roads connecting to Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad are in a bad state. The conditions of roads need to be improved on war-footing. Roads connecting to Samruddhi Expressway should be given priority. The schools of the Corporation should be developed, taking government schools in Delhi as an example. The quality of education will bring quality in development, added the dignitaries.
