Administration conducting assessment of charity buildings

NASHIK :

In view of spread of Coronavirus, the district administration is ready and administrative officials have started to assess beds in the buildings of charity organisations in the city in view of possible danger in future.

A joint team on Thursday visited Seva Sadan in Namco hospital and inspected residential and other facilities here
Chief executive officer of Nashik smart company Prakash Thavil, additional municipal commissioner Sonkamble, deputy chief medical officer of NMC health department Ajita Salunke and deputy general manager Kisan Kanade visited Jain Oswal boarding, Namco hospital, Chopada empire, hostels run by tribal department and dharmashalas and took information about the facilities there.

The team also inspected residential facility in Seva Sadan in Namco hospital. It issued instructions to spray disinfectant in view of isolation. They also took information about sanitization and other facilities in the hospital. Hospital trust secretary Shshikant Parakh, trustees and hospital officials were also present on the occasion.

Namco bank chairman Sohanlal Bhandari, Jain Oswal boarding president Harish Lodha, Chopada empire director Sunil Chopada and others have taken an initiative to help the district administration. Office bearers of various organisations in Jain community had met the Municipal Commissioner and had showed readiness to make space available for quarantine.

As entire country is facing Coronavirus crisis, every component need to take initiative. If needed, we have shown our readiness to make available rooms in Seva Sadan in the hospital for isolation purpose. In addition, it is under consideration to make food packets available to the needy.
