ACBCS students visit BSE, WTC, RBI Monetary Museum


Nashik : Ashoka Education Foundation’s Ashoka Center for Business and Computer Studies (ACBCS) running courses of BBA, BBA-CA, B.Sc.(Comp.Sc.) conducted educational visit for their TYBBA students at Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) World Trade Center (WTC) and RBI Monetary Museum.

Ashoka Education Foundation emphasises in imparting accelerated need-based practical oriented education, to empower the students for self exploration and overall development.

BSE visit provided students understanding of basic concepts, working of stock exchange, and governing laws related to it. Students were welcomed by Mr. Yunus Qureshi – visit in-charge of BSE Brokers’ Forum Institute.

The expert seminar was conducted by Dr.Aditya Srinivas, by giving awareness to students about conventional trading & trading approached currently followed. Online transactions including basic concepts for Mutual Fund trading were explained.

Further comparative analysis of various stock exchanges in world was provided to students. Students were explained further career opportunities in capital market and systematic methods which can be followed for stock & currency trading. Students were taught systematic investment plan methodology. They were exposed to current status & history of stock exchange in detail.

Students visited RBI Monetary Museum, in which orientation video was shown. The students witnessed various curreny of world beginning from Stone Age to recent currency. Mr. P V Radhakrishnan explained various norms of RBI for issue of currency.

Students also visited WTC, at Colaba. They were exposed to international trade environment during the visit. Mr.A.O. Kuruvila, Advisor, Trade & Education, World Trade Center provided students orientation about the Center. Students were explained about role of WTC to boost international trade & opportunities provided for same.

The visit received excellent feedback from students. The visit also gave students opportunity to learning experience to arrange visit, Aashish Jaisingh, Abhishek Daspute and Kajol Lulla participated in coordinatation with faculties.

The visit was organised by Prof. Lokesh Surana with Prof. Harshal Dayama and Mrs. Archana Zambre under guidance of ACBCS, Principal Dr. Archana Ghatule, Administrator Dr. Wasudeo Bhende & Director Dr. Rajendra Takale.
