NASHIK :
A 12-year-old boy was reportedly killed by a leopard while he was jogging near Shinde bypass in Higanvede village here on Sunday. The victim has been identified as Kunal Pagare.

According to police, Kunal along with his three other friends went for jogging like just another day. The victim was trailing behind while his friends moved ahead.
A big cat, lurking in the nearby sugarcane field, pounced at Kunal. Hearing his cries, his peers rushed back to the village and narrated the appalling episode.
Immediately, the villagers passed on the information to the forest and police officials after which a team rescued the boy and took him to the hospital.
However, he was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital, added police.
