NASHIK :
Going through the strict quality tests a young entrepreneur from Nashik is manufacturing personal protection equipment (PPE) kits as a safety shield for doctors, nurses and health workers who as a warriors leading the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
MIDC regional officer and deputy district collector Nitin Gawali has given permission to city-based young entrepreneur Amol Choudhary to manufacture PPE kits at its Ambad facility under the Essential Services Act.
Citing a huge shortage of PPE kits in the country, the factory is producing 2000 kits per day with the permission of Govt. Ranging between Rs 1500 and Rs 1700 at other producing plants, it is costing fairly at Rs 750 per kit in Nashik facility.
It is interesting to note that production is constantly underway despite a shortage of raw material during this lockdown without compromising quality aspects, health and safety norms.
RTO officer Bharat Kalaskar has issued transport permit for smooth supply of PPE kits in and other states.
