Datta Jayanti celebrated with religious fervour

NASHIK: Adhering to the rules framed by the government and with Covid appropriate behaviour, Datta Jayanti was celebrated in the city on Saturday. Devotees thronged to temples of lord dattatreya with great fervour to celebrate the birth of hindu male god who signifies presence of divine holy trinity in one form. Devotees were seen chanting ‘Dutta Digambaraya Ho, Digambara. Digambara Shripad Vallabh Digambara’.

They were seen taking darshan by observing physical distancing outside renowned Ekmukhi Dutt temple at Goda Ghat where priests Mayur Barve and Atul Bhagre guruji performed pooja. The devotees also thronged Dhage Maharaj Samadhi temple, Dutt temple at Shingada Talav, Janardan Swami Ashram and other temples of the lord including Dindori based main center of All India Shri Swami Samarth Seva Marg apart from Samarth Gurupeeth, Trimbakeshwar.
