In the wake of coronavirus pandemic, as many as 95 police personnel who tested positive for Covid-19 are undergoing treatment at MVP’s Dr. Vasantrao Pawar COVID-19 hospital here Also, 20 relatives of the positive cops have been quarantined at this place.
The number of corona positive patients is increasing day by day. In the entire district it had gone beyond 758 mark including over 593 positive cases in Malegaon alone. Corona was especially contagious to the frontline police personnel deployed at hotpot Malegaon. Some doctors and nurses providing medical services were also infected.
All the Covid-19 positive warriors have been admitted to Dr. Vasantrao Pawar COVID-19 hospital for treatment. A few days ago in Malegaon, a total of 7 policemen were infected with corona. All these cops were admitted in the Covid-19 hospital here and were given discharge after treatment, in the presence of health minister Rajesh Tope.
The team of specialist doctors at the hospital had treated the patients and discharged them from the hospital.
At present, 95 corona positive policemen are undergoing treatment at the Covid hospital. Also, 20 relatives of these patients have been quarantined.
At present, 95 police personnel tested positive for Covid-19 while on duty in Malegaon, are undergoing treatment at Covid hospital. Earlier, seven positive patients were discharged from the hospital. In the next one or two days, 30 policemen will be discharged.
