7th village in Social Networking’s water campaign made tanker free


Nashik: The dedication ceremony of free water supply scheme in the remote area of Wadpada in Peth taluka was held under water campaign started by Social Networking Forum last year in association with Spartan health centre, Nashik doctors, facebook social networkers and Prani whatsapp group. This is the seventh village which has become self dependent for water under SNF pattern developed by the Forum.

Women workers from the village dedicated the water scheme in service of the people. Earlier, water in the tank was discharged to dedicate it in service of the people. Social Networking Forum president Pramod Gaikwad explained the objective behind water campaign and thanked donors for their donation to the scheme. Sarpanch Suresh Dahawad took responsibility of maintenance and repair of this scheme. Dr. A K Pawar urged that villages should use water facility very well.

Engineer Prashant Bachhav urged that villagers should take efforts for plantation of trees and to make the village free of open defecation. Assistant police inspector Pravin Salunke, PSI Ghuge, Dr. Madhavi Muthal, Dr. Sarla Sohnandani, Rahul Kadam, Dr. Sameer Pawar and villagers from Wadgaon and Shevkhandi were present in large numbers. Convener of the Forum Ramdas Shinde compered the programme, whereas engineer Prashant Bachhav proposed the vote of thanks.
