NASHIK :
As 36 people tested positive for coronavirus infection in Nashik district on Saturday, taking the tally to 333. Seven suspects in Nashik city were tested positive in the morning, while five suspects from rural area were detected positive including one from Manmad and one from Chandwad tehsil.
A pharmacist, mother of police personnel from Manmad, 29-year-old army jawan from Deolali Camp, a 60-year-old woman from Satpur colony, a 54-year-old male from Panchavati area, 39-year-old from Cidco and 42-year-old from Uttamnagar are among those new cases which were reported from Nashik city.
On the other hand, 14 fresh cases were reported in sealed Malegaon city in the evening. With this number of patients in the city has surged to 298. Seven police personnel and a transgender are among the new cases. A positive patient has been found in Dabhadi. With the detection of a patient in Malegaon external area, worry is being expressed.
Meanwhile, health agency is tracing those persons who came in contact with this patient. He is reportedly around 33 years old.
Four police personnel, two police personnel working in the control room and one SRPF jawan were tested positive in Malegaon city. A 28-year-old youth from Kumbharwada, two from Mohammad Ali Road, one female from Ansarganj, 18-year-old transgender residing in Yogayog mangal karyalaya and a 50-year-old woman is among other patients.
