Comparing to number of corona patients in other municipal corporations of the state, 1,306 corona suspects in Nashik city have been recovered in the last 43 days. This has showed that the measures being conducted by NMC medical and health department are succeeded.
Till Monday, a total of 1,530 persons came to the city from corona affected areas and home quarantine period of 1,117 persons has been completed.
The tally of corona patients in Nashik district has mounted to 824 till Monday night and 42 deaths have been reported so far. The number of infected in Nashik city has risen to 47. Of them, 32 were discharged after they got recovered. Currently, only 13 infected are being treated, while 104 have been found in rest district. Of them, 62 got cured.
A total of 643 positives have been found in Malegaon municipal area till Monday and 40 deaths took place. Among the total infected in the rest district, 30 are outsiders and currently two are being treated. A total of 20 suspects from city have been admitted to hospital on Monday.
The number of those receiving treatment in municipal area has reduced to 95 from 160. On Monday, the number of containment areas in the city has been reduced to 22 and restrictions in some more containment areas may be relaxed today.
