With detection of 11 new cases on Friday in Nashik district, the pandemic tally has surged to 902, which include 11 positive reports of patients from the city.
Among those 11 cases, two are from Malegaon and 11 from Nashik city.

Corona is spreading fast in Nashik city for the last three days. 12 patients were found on Thursday in the city. Those new 11 patients who have tested positive on Friday, include six from Ambad-Satpur link road area, three from Wadalagaon and one each from Panchavati and New Nashik. On the other hand, only two patients in Malegaon have tested positive.
Corona is also rising fast in other areas of the district too. 51 new suspects have been admitted to hospital on Friday, including 24 from Malegaon municipal area, 17 from rural area and 10 in district civil hospital.
District administration has screened 42,249 suspect in the district so far. A total of 9,447 swabs have been sent so far. Of them, 8,240 have been tested negative, while 902 have been tested positive. Of them 191 are active cases. 391 reports are awaited.
