Nashik Road : Joint secretary of Currency and Coins department of government of India and director of Press Federation Anurag Agrawal assured to give priority to the demands by Press Mazdoor Sangh and to fulfill them.
Agrawal, Ajay Shrivastav and Ajay Agrawal visited the Press here. MP Hemant Godse welcomed them. Discussions over demands by Press workers were held between representatives of Press Mazdoor Sangh and senior officials and a memorandum was given. Priority will be given when a decision will be taken to set up paper factory, Agrawal informed.
Information about other PSUs regarding jobs to relatives of deceased workers will be collected and will find a way for this, he informed further and issued orders to seniors to take decision over incentive allowance. When Mazdoor Sangh demanded to start recruitment process to recruit workers considering rise in retirement, Agrawal issued necessary instructions to chief general managers of both Press about this.
He responded positively over the demand to renovate government buildings at Nehru Nagar and to set up play ground, garden and market there. He instructed to table a report about this to higher office. A demand was made to construct a community hall on the space near main gate of the Press.
Agrawal over passport and HUV film said that a meeting was held with MEA about this and they stepped back to install HUV film from outside. This work will remain with the Press here, he informed.
Chief general manager S P Verma, Sudhir Sahoo, M Manishankar, Kalamkar, Dhake, Jungale, Durga Prasad, general secretary of Press Mazdoor Sangh Jagdish Godse, working president Dnyaneshwar Jundre, Madhav Lahange and other office bearers were present.
