Nashik : The library week by Sarvajanik Vachanalaya, Nashik will begin from Friday (Dec. 8). Lectures by prominent personalities will be held in M S Aurangabadkar hall at 6.30 pm in this week which will continue till December 14. Lecture of veteran journalist Madhukar Bhave has been organised on December 8 due to birth centenary year of former Chief Minister of Maharashtra and veteran freedom fighter Vasantdada Patil.
This lecture has been organised in memory of martyr Anant Kanhere. Mohsina Mukadam and Dr. Sushma Poudwal, Mumbai will deliver their lecture on food culture of Maharashtra on December 9. The students who stood first in M.Lib. and B.Lib. course will be honoured with late M S Aurangabadkar award.
Vastu expert Dr. Dhundiraj Pathak, Pune will deliver his lecture on defects in house and remedies for these on December 10. Activists who are working in tribal field will be honoured. Senior publisher Arun Shevte and Sudesh Hinglajpurkar, Mumbai will provide his lecture on our diwali magazines on December 11. Social activist from Amravati Dr. Avinash Savji will speak on ‘Ayushyaman Vha on December 12. Best reader and child reader awards will be presented.
A quiz and answer session has been organised on December 13. Veteran journalist Kumar Ketkar will deliver his lecture on ‘decade of Indira’ on December 14 due to birth centenary year of former Prime Minister late Indira Gandhi.
