Nashik : Udaan 2017, a state-level intercollegiate competition was conducted at ACBCS, from last 4 years to provide an opportunity for students to acquire and apply theoretical knowledge in to practical aspects of management like planning, organizing, implementation and leadership. To provide opportunity for students to perform and present their hidden talents, skill or art on this practical platform.
State level ‘Udaan 2017’ was inaugurated in the presence of chairman Ashok Katariya. Chief guest of was honoured by Namita Kohak. She explained to students the journey of her life from cancer to Mrs. International Worldwide Queen 2015. Kohok further stated about her determination and courage. That was a stimulating experience and she took the inauguration ceremony to a benchmark height. Thus, Udaan started with delighted and exciting way
Lastly, chairman Katariya addressed audience and participants in his extra ordinary way explained to students the need and importance of education. He further stated that education does not mean only to acquire degrees but one should incalculate qualities of daring and ability for its application in practical world. Katariya further stated to observe the imminent personality present for the ceremony from various fields and utilize the platform of competition to dare & develop self in 360 degree.
A valedictory ceremony was conducted with prize distribution. Shenoy from LIC was invited as chief guest for ceremony Udaan review was given by Assistant Prof. Sonali ingle, Shenoy, director Dr. Rajendra Takale ,administrator Dr. Wasudeo Bhende and Principal Dr. Archana Ghatule gave away prizes to winners.
Dr. Pradeep Shenoy in his speech explained to students to use such platform for identifying the inbuilt capacity and qualities of students and then use such knowledge for career goal setting.
Vote of thanks was proposed by Assistant Prof. Yogesh Marathe.
Udaan co-ordinators Hetal Bhinde, Sarika Thuse, Sonali Ingle, Yogesh Marathe, Swapnil Dixit, ACBCS faculty and students took collective efforts for success of the event. Chairman Ashok Katariya, joint secretary Shrikant Shukla, director Dr. Rajendra Takale, administrator Dr. Wasudeo Bhende, Principal Dr. Archana Ghatule, Vice Principal Harsha Patil and Mrs.Sarita Dhawale, ACBCS provided their guidance for success of Udaan.
