New Era students celebrate innovative Rakshabandhan with police


Nashik: The smart and energetic students of New Era English School having its motto ‘American Methodology with Bharatiya Sanskruti’ celebrated Rakshabandhan with great fervour and enthusiasm to cherish the unconditional love and strengthen the sacred bond between brothers and sisters.

The highlight of the programme was to express appreciation and gratitude to the concerted effort of “police personnel” in maintaining the stability and order of Nashik city by tying eco-friendly rakhi prepared from the bamboo material by the adivasis of the Melghat region and also offered “Tulsi” plant which symbolizes sanctity, luck and prosperity.

The money collected from the sale of the rakhi material was given for a noble cause to save the Melghat region.

The students of the school visited Commissioner of Police Office and Mumbai Naka Police station. The entire office atmosphere was converted in to happy and jubilant feeling both for the students and the department of police. They were overwhelmed with the affection and acknowledgement shown by the students and that enriched the day with,the commitment to work for students’ society.

The commissioner of police Dr. Ravinder Kumar Singal has encouraged and motivated the students to work hard to achieve success in life and also said always be good. The students took active participation throughout the programme.
