Satpur : Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd and Yash Foundation, Nashik jointly distributed school stationery to HIV affected students and felicitated meritorious students who passed SSC and HSC examinations with flying colours. Newly married HIV couples were also felicitated in a programme at Nashik Rotary Club hall, Ganjamal in presence of prominent personalities.
The programme was organised with an objective to encourage meritorious students of SSC and HSC for their future progress and to praise them. Manager (HR), Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. Kamalakar Dhongde, Namdeo Yelmame, Shete, Arun Dhore, Bhushan Surjuse, programme officer of district prevention and control squad Yogesh Pardeshi, NPC chairperson Sangita Pawar and president of Yash Foundation Ravindra Patil were also present.
Meritorious students and around 300 children affected by HIV were distributed school stationery and gifts to newly married eight couples.
Dhongde stated that there is struggle in life of every person, but students affected by HIV achieved first phase of success maintaining their health and praised them. Namdeo Yelmame extended his greetings for good future of newly elected couples and SSC and HSC passed students.
It is not important how students get the mark, but students got praise for the success they got, he stated. Ravindra Patil made the introductory speech. Organisation of various entertaining games for newly elected couples and marital life counselling were done by Bhushan Surjuse. HIV affected in large numbers were present.
