Nashik: 14,614 admission forms were filed for degree course in engineering from Nashik division till Friday. 9,318 forms have been filed for pharmacy courses, whereas 110 admission forms have been filed for hotel management course and 443 forms have been filed for civil engineering course.
As June 17 was last date to verify documents and correction in admission forms for those applying for degree admission of technical education, students who are interested in engineering and pharmacy had gathered in large numbers at facilitation centres.
46 Facilitation Centres for engineering have been set up for students to take online admissions, whereas 35 facilitation centre have been set up for pharmacy course. 2 Facilitation Centres have been set up for hotel management course, while 5 Facilitation Centres have been set up for civil engineering.
As per instructions by directorate of technical education, admission process for diploma, degree and post-graduate courses are being conducted online through centralised method. Students have started to submit their forms on the website to get admission on available seats at society level since Monday. Those students who have completed filing of admission form process should verify their documents at the facilitation centres. As a result, most students fixed their forms and verified certificates and other necessary documents. Names of the students will be included in merit list prepared by authorised officer.
This time, state common entrance examination cell had conducted the CET for admissions to engineering, pharmacy, medical and dental courses.
The time table for engineering admissions have also been declared with CET results and June 17 was last date to file admissions online. It was also last date for verification of admission form and scrutiny of documents. The final merit list will be declared on June 22 and admissions of students will be fixed thereafter.
