‘Competition among industries will come to an end with GST’


Satpur: Equal tax system in country will help in ending internal competition industries in states have to face. Goods and Services Tax will be beneficial for industries if they keep notes in proper way and give report about them to government, stated Deputy Commissioner (sales tax) P V Bagul.

Deputy Commissioner (sales tax) P V Bagul, Deputy Commissioner (sales tax) Kishore Pawar, AIMA chief Rajendra Ahire and general secretary Nikhil Panchal were present on dais during the workshop organised by Ambad Industries and Manufacturers Association (AIMA) to provide guidance about GST for industrialists.

While providing his guidance, Deputy Commissioner (sales tax) P V Bagul explained difference between GST, CGST and IGST through a slide show. He also provided his guidance about how percentage of tax in the country will be and types of certificates. Bagul informed about records, taxes, services and GST number.

He also informed about rules for import-export, turnover, TDS cutting and GST file return. Requirement of documents and preparation of registers in GST. HSN code and informed in detail about current tax system, GST tax method and difference in income tax. Bagul analysed and guided about benefits of GST and inflation.

In his introductory speech, AIMA chief Ahire informed that seminar has been organised in association with sales tax department to provide and guidance about GST, which will be implemented from July, to industrialists. Former AIMA chief Dhananjay Bele and other industrialists cleared their doubts from Bagul. Industrialists in large numbers were present.
