New Nashik : “We as people’s representatives are committed to work unitedly for growth, progress and branding of Nashik city and will try to resolve problems and difficulties in this,” stated Mayor Ranjana Bhansi, MP Hemant Godse, MP Harishchandra Chavan, MLA Balasaheb Sanap, MLA Seema Hiray and MLA Dr. Rahul Hiray. They were speaking during inauguration of ‘Shelter- 2017’, to be organised by Credai Nashik metro from December 21 to 25.
Nashikites will get opportunity to fulfill their dream to own house through ‘Shelter-2017’ expo. More than 600 housing projects of 175 builders, 15 home loan finance institutions and more than 100 agencies related to supply of building material will take part in it. Nashikites will have many options available under one roof. Prominent personalities from various sectors were present.
Students Aniket Waghmare, Priya Naidu, Aniruddha Kenge, Shrushti Nerkar and Ravi Sharma who took name of Nashik at national level lighted the traditional lamp. In his introductory speech, Credai Nashik president Sunil Kotwal stated that this expo is of all Nashikites. There will be a big opportunity to make branding of Nashik on this occasion. As branding of Nashik will take place at global level due to this expo, the city will definitely be benefitted by this, he confided.
Convener of Shelter-2017 Uday Ghuge made presentation of the expo and mentioned that many new things and technology are used in the expo. RFID tags will be given to people for registration of their names. As e-pamphlets will be given, environment will be conserved. Design of the expo site is innovative and amphitheater has been constructed there. As there is possibility of increase in home prices, people’s representatives should provide their attention to this, he expects.
Deputy Mayor Prathamesh Gite, NMC standing committee chairperson Shivaji Gangurde, houe leader Dinkar Patil, opposition leader Ajay Boraste, Sambhaji Moruskar, credai secretary Umesh Wankhede, Hemant Parakh, Naresh Karda and other credai office bearers and office bearers of renowned organisations in Nashik were present for the programme.
