CITU stages agitation opposite ESI hospital


Satpur: A fund of Rs. 10 crore is given to ESI through owners and workers in industrial area every month. Workers are not getting services despite this. If ESI is unable to provide services, provide this fund to CITU. It is committed to provide better services than super specialty hospital, declared national vice president of CITU Dr. D L Karad.

The Nashik district committee of CITU staged an agitation opposite ESI hospital at Satpur for not getting proper health services. Dr. D L Karad, Sitaram Thombre, Kalpana Shinde, former office bearer of Bosch union Pravin Patil, worker development forum’s Kailas More, Devidas Adole, other office bearers and activists were present.

Workers demanded vacant posts of class III to be filled to provide services immediately etc. Delegation of CITU gave a memorandum to medical superintendent of ESI hospital Dr. Saroj Jawade and demanded services and facilities. It was demanded to take follow up with seniors to provide better services.

Resident medical officer Dr. R S Patil, administrative officer Dr. Nandkishore Raut, orthopaedic Dr. Rupraj Pawar, pathologist Dr. S Gavali, anesthesiologist Dr. Nagnath Latpate, Dr. Vasant Bhojne and other officials were present.
