Children’s Day celebrated at St. Francis High School

Nashik : Children’s Day was celebrated at St. Francis High School, Tidke Colony, Nashik with an immense joy and happiness. Beloved “Chacha Nehru” was lovingly remembered as his birth anniversary is celebrated as “Children’s Day” every year across the nation.

All the teachers arranged a special programme on this occasion. This programme was performed in the special morning assembly. The programme commenced with the lord’s prayer followed by a special prayer. Secondary supervisor Cici Wilson read the word of the Lord from the holy Bible.

Keshav Pandey, the school president, read out chairman’s message to the students and conveyed best wishes to all the students. Male teachers enacted a skit highlighting the Value of the Month “Graciousness”. Students, those who were celebrating their birthday, were called upon the stage and cakes were cut by Pre-Primary students. These tiny tots claded themselves in the get up of traditional costume.

Teachers sang prayer songs with great zeal and enthusiasm and presented high octane performance. Many teachers played musical instruments too. Students orchestra took centre stage as they played enchanting melodies. Teachers, too, presented wonderful songs which amused the children.

Teachers played many games such a bomb in the city, tug of war, memory games, favourite station and funny games along with their students.
Headmistress Kusuma Shetty appreciated all the students and teachers for their performance. Dr. Augustine F Pinto – The chairman of Ryan International Group of Schools and Grace Pinto – The managing director of Ryan International Group of schools conveyed their blessings and best wishes on this occasion.
