BizzUp’s first Startups conference in Nashik today


New Nashik: With a broad view to create a platform for “startups”, the first ‘BizzUp Startup Awards 2017’ event is being organised today (June 25) in the city, apprised Hitesh Taral, director, The BizzUp.

“The event has been organised to create conducive business environment in Nashik too, in line with business-friendly cities like Mumbai, Pune and Bengalore,” Taral said.

He was interacting with the media persons at the 5-star hotel Grand Rio here in key presence of Grand Rio chairman Chetan Patil, manager Vishwas Sarpotdar and investor Vivek Kapadnis.

The conference will be held at hotel Grand Rio, Nashik between 10.00 am and 6.00 pm, to be participated by budding entrepreneurs (Startups) from cities of Delhi, Noida, Gwalior, Jaipur, Chennai, Nashik, Mumbai and Pune.

During the conference, which is first in Nashik, as many as 50 Startups will get an opportunity to pitch their business ideas in front of jury/investors. 10 best Startups will be awarded with “Startups of the year” award.

Vivek Kapadnis, director, Horizon Agrotech; Nayan Bheda, director, Indian School of Business; and Ajay Bohra, director, HDFC will remain present among the key investors.

Unplugged music will be played by famous band MH 15 amidst performances by music director Santokh Singh and actress Gurleen Chopra.
