Nashik: Shiv Sena has undertaken tours across state over issue of loan waiver to bring farmers closer. As a part of this ‘Shiv Sena agriculture convention 2017’ has been organised for farmers in north Maharashtra on May 19 to discuss difficulties and problems of farmers and to implement long-term and useful measures to resolve them.
On the backdrop of this, Shiv Sena leader MP Sanjay Raut and district liaison chief MLA Ajay Choudhari had conducted a meeting of principal office bearers in district on Thursday (May 11) at Shiv Sena Bhavan, Mumbai and provided their guidance regarding planning for the convention. It has been decided to organise the convention at Chopda banquet hall, Gangapur Road, Nashik on Friday (May 19), between 9 am to 4.30 pm.
Shiv Sena unit of Nashik called a meeting yesterday at party head-office to discuss planning for the convention. Shiv Sena district liaison chiefs, district chiefs, deputy district chiefs, taluka chiefs, city chiefs, MPs, MLAs, corporators, ZP members, panchayat samiti members and talukawise representatives of farmers from north Maharashtra will take part in the convention.
Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray will provide his guidance at the convention.
Following municipal elections, Shiv Sena has organised such type of agriculture convention in Maharashtra for first time. Review of vehicle parking arrangement, lodging and boarding, cell to welcome people, food arrangement, publicity and seating arrangement was taken in the meeting.
District chief Vijay Karanjkar, metropolitan chief Ajay Boraste, group leader Vilas Shinde, former Mayor Yatin Wagh, Shivram Zole, district rural chief Nivrutti Jadhav and other office bearers were present for the meeting.
Meanwhile, senior leader Subhash Desai, MP Sanjay Raut and district liaison chief MLA Ajay Choudhari will come to Nashik on May 17 to review planning for the convention, informed metropolitan chief Ajay Boraste.
