Nashik : Ashoka Business School had organised a three day Induction program, Aarohan-2017 for the new MBA batch of 2017-18 on 31st July 2017, at Ashoka Business School College Campus. The programme began with the Lighting of the traditional lamp.
The Director of ABS, Dr.Rajendra Takale in his welcome address stressed upon the need of quality education and how ABS was as step ahead in imparting the same to the students. Various events and programs have been planned under this activity.
Dr.Wasudeo Bhende, Administrator, Ashoka Education Foundation ,explained the importance of time management and the importance of inculcating the habit of reading in developing one’s personality.
Ashok Katariya, Chairman of Ashoka Buildcon Ltd.spoke about how practical training is more important than the Practical knowledge. He also spoke about how students must know their own selves before deciding on their careers. He talked about his own experiences which helped him reach the pinnacle of success.
The Chief Guest, Mr. V. R. Venkitachalam Chairman of Bizsol Co.Ltd. emphasised on the need for being a good human being before being a good manager. He gave the students different lessons in management and also shared with them valuable tips for being successful.
In the afternoon session Mr. Dharmesh Mehta HR head of Atlas Copco spoke about cultivating values at work. He also had an interactive session with the students involving them in few management exercises.
An academic orientation was given by Prof. Ajay Shukla to acquaint the students with the MBA syllabus. Prof. Manisha Bhamre successfully compered the whole function and Dr. Sachin Kulkarni proposed the vote of thanks.
The programme was successful due to the combined efforts of all the teaching, non-teaching staff and the MBA-II nd year students of ABS.
