Satpur : Following complaint by an industrialist that there was chaos in distribution of lands in industrial area, table substantial evidence about this. If it is true criminal cases will be filed against the concerned, warned District Collector Radhakrishnan B.
The meeting of ‘Zilla Udyog Mitra’, which was pending since last one-and-half year took place on Wednesday. While alleging that 27 lands were distributed illegally in Ambad’s S block, Jayprakash Joshi stated that land is received through mediators. Employees and officials are established and do not pay heed to anyone, he alleged further. The District Collector got angry over this. Make any allegation on basis of evidence. This platform is not for speaking only, he remarked.
Make inquiry in detail into evidences and strict action will be taken against the guilty, the District Collector assured. While issuing instructions to MIDC about this he instructed to do any thing through online process. Prepare proper web portal and open it for certain period, he instructed. He also instructed MIDC to make fact sheet of all plots in industrial area and asked to provide all facilities at the plot in Akrale area before Make in Nashik project. This plot will be sold during Make in Nashik and it is needed to provide all facilities there, the District Collector said.
Nashik-Sinnar road to be completed by June 15
The construction work of Nashik-Sinnar is going on at a very slow pace. Though industrialists demanded to complete before monsoon, contractor has given June 15 as last date, this work expected to be completed before this, the District Collector informed.
Difference in NMC tax paid by industries
While monitoring work of Nashik Municipal Corporation, a huge difference can be seen between tax coming from industry sector and information of industries to be registered with sales tax department, the District Collector mentioned. Sales tax department is taking information in detail about this and reality will come out soon. Thereafter, those guilty have to face action along with payment of recovery, he hinted.
The government has declared a special scheme programme for private industrial areas. A proposal has been sanctioned to collect 75% amount, whereas 25% amount will be collected from industries under ‘SPV’ and to make development through this. Rs. 22 crore and Rs. 3.50 crore have been sanctioned for Gonde and Jaulke respectively through this. Industrialists should deposit their 25 % share in account.
Government will immediately deposit its share, informed the District Collector. Rs. 122 crore have been sanctioned under this project for industrial area in the district. 5000 square feet land has been reserved at Malegaon for hospital, informed regional officer Hemangi Patil. Industrialist tabled a suggestion that EIC should provide medical facilities there. Suggestion was made to issue a letter to EIC through ZUM.
NIMA president Harishankar Banerjee, AIMA president Rajendra Ahire, Laghu Udyog Bharati president Sanjay Mahajan, president of importer-exporter association Ramesh Pawar, NIMA vice president Mangesh Patankar, Manish Raval and other officials from various departments were present.
